This artwork is an original by Lauren Danger made in February 2020. It’s the tenth of the “Summer Hues” series.
Summer Hues was created while taking a break over the summer period. The change in the landscape surrounding the Otways, the warm earthy tones of this time influenced the colour palette. Taking inspiration from the Restore series, I loved creating the contrast to the cooler colour palette. I’ve written about it here in my blog.
There’s a mix of blue/grey, warm green tones, mustard, dusty pink, rich red with a pop of warm yellow under an aqua sky. It would look amazing in a modern room, bringing colour and life to a neutral room or complementing colours. See the gallery photos for inspiration.
This artwork has been created on a custom made stretched canvas, signed on the front and framed in raw oak. It also comes with a certificate of authenticity. You can find out all about the details of my originals here.
