Description
Aireys Inlet – Split Point Lighthouse – Original Artwork by Lauren Danger. Created in September 2024.
Something I’m very aware of as a mum of a 6yo is finding space to just be. Surrounded by beautiful coastline we’re never short of beaches to explore along the Great Ocean Road. One beach I’d never taken Archer to was Sandy Gully Beach in Aireys Inlet, Surf Coast. We lost track of time, finding seashells along the seaweed covered rocks at low tide. This reef became a focal point in the painting, a little reminder of the day we spent together as a family. The colour choices are more natural then some of my previous artworks, a wonderful way to mix things up. In the background you see Split Point Lighthouse and Eagle Rock, both iconic to this small coastal town.
Aireys Inlet – Split Point Lighthouse has been created on a custom made stretched canvas ready to hang and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. This artwork has been framed in a float frame made of raw oak. You can find out all about the details of my originals here.
Approx. 125 x 94 x 5 cm – Dimensions include frame.
