"Bells Beach abstract" was created from a space of letting go and creating what comes to mind. The morning I started this painting, I took a long walk between Jan Juc and Bells Beach, it felt only fitting that I paint what I see. Stepping away from using a reference photo was liberating, something you'll see more of in 2025. It's been a while since I've painted this iconic beach, I hope you enjoy it in a more earthy colour way.
Bells Beach abstract has a calming feel with teal, marine blue, soft pinks, mustard, peach and chocolate/caramel tones.
