Bells Beach No. 3 Limited Edition Print  This artwork is a limited edition print of the "Bells Beach No. 3 " original artwork.

Bells Beach No. 3  and the rest of the series is inspired by the iconic surf beach of Bells Beach, Wadawurrung Country, Surf Coast Australia.

This series has turquoise water and a mix of earthy tones with bright bold pinks and purples.  For me the technique with the leaves is another way I can freely and intuitively express colour and tone.

This perspective of Bells beach was captured by local photographer Linda Gorfol.  You can see the original inspiration image in the photo gallery.  As always I love to use the image as a base point.  Always at some point during the creation of the vegetation I allow intuition to take over and I step away from the image.  My artworks are, to me, the beautiful balance between realism and abstract.  Taking an image known to the viewer and allowing my more playful side to express itself.

Please reach out here if you need any framing advice before purchase.
