Jan Juc – Little Rock Lookout – Original Artwork by Lauren Danger. Created in April 2024.
Moving to Torquay, Jan Juc quickly became my go to to enjoy the sunrise. Bird Rock has always inspired me, the shapes of the rock formations and the way the layers of rock have eroded to leave a spiral effect is stunning. The water at different times adds to the effect. Not wanting to distract from the cliff face I decide to simplify the vegetation and express it in my abstract style. It was hard to choose the perspective for this artwork but I feel that the Little Rock Lookout hits just right. It has a bit of everything, sea, vegetation, rock and sky. This is my happy place and she’s a special artwork to me, therefore I decided to hae her available as a limited edition print of 10.
Jan Juc – Little Rock Lookout is one of my moodier colour palettes, it shows an array of colours from, deep ocean blues, grey/blue, teal, grey, grey/green, olive green, magenta, mustard, peach, apricot, purple and lilac. Fluorescent pink gives it it luminosity.
This artwork has been created on a custom made stretched canvas ready to hang and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. This artwork has been framed in a float frame made of raw oak. You can find out all about the details of my originals here.
