Description
This artwork is an original by Lauren Danger made in February 2020. It is the 6th of the “Home” series.
Home is a series created as a follow up to Celebration. I wanted to acknowledge the artworks success with creating a series following a similar palette. Being in line with the 2 year anniversary of Celebrations creation and what would’ve been Dad’s birthday it came at a perfect time.
The scene you see is an abstract view looking north from one of the highest points in The Otways. In between Ferguson and Beech Forest. A gentle folding of hills and forest leading to flatter plains in the far background. A sight to see if you’ve never visited Beech Forest, close to the popular Otway Tree Top walk. For those who don’t know me this is where I grew up and it brings me so much joy bringing these sights to life in abstraction and colour.
Home has a calming feel with a variety of greens and blues, highlighted with purples, soft dusty pinks, peach and mustard. This artwork would suit being paired with an another artwork as seen in the gallery photos of the same size. Sold individually, please see the series here.
This artwork has been created on a custom made stretched canvas ready to hang and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. This artwork has been framed in a float frame made of raw oak. You can find out all about the details of my originals here.
