This artwork is an original by Lauren Danger made in August 2020. It’s a follow up to the series “Up In The Clouds” taking on a new colour palette.
When it comes to painting there is a definite 2 things I love to paint over and over again. One is landscapes and the other is cloud formations. I spoke about the story behind this series in my blog here.
Daybreak is similar to Autumn Sky but with a slightly different twist on colour palette and of course dimensions. The use of more earthy based browns and red mixed with more rust and teal than Autumn Sky was a direction I wanted to experiment with and I just love the result. I hope you all enjoy it too.
It would look amazing in a modern room, bringing colour and life to a neutral room or complementing colours. Colours used are green/black (teal), red/brown, terracotta, rust, peach, red/orange, sienna, transparent mustard and a warm based grey.
